How does music work?
You let go and play.

And you play.

But already in the rpg

Personal, I like music in sessions. Adds atmosphere, etc.
Most often I use songs by Rammstein, Fallout OST, NWN.

I found interesting pages that I am going to use in the next sessions, testing if it will work somehow. Namely, these pages have built-in sounds that you can turn on and off, and modify their volume depending on your needs. Thanks to this, we can quickly mix several different paths in a suitable way for us and receive, for example, the sound of a moving train during a downpour or a storm. A very nice idea for mine

It is certainly interesting. I think I will use it myself. Thanks: D

We used to experiment with music during an internet session - MG set up an internet radio server, everyone connected with winamp (or other audio program) and everyone could listen to the same music played by MG. And it even worked, although the problem of online sessions is multitasking and the fact that people start browsing the e-mail in the background or chatting on the IRC ...

But how do you want it better tagged than in folders? Just refine the categories if you need to. Because with us, when there is a fight, I simply click on some fighting music without distinguishing whether it is a fight in a forest, a field or a barn.
Worse with various other situations, where sometimes you really need to determine how dramatic or hopeless the situation is, and boredom and waiting are different.

I recently started to make playlists on youtube and it works, really :) I do as much as I want, put what I want and the machine flies until I change when changing the scene.

The last time we played it was a bit of music, and it was a lot more fun in my opinion; ) but the downside of playing the entire playlist like this is that when you came across a more mysterious piece, I was already sniffing the plot, even if it wasn't supposed to be xD

In general, if the music is supposed to be only somewhere in the background, because there is nothing specific going on in the session at the moment, I recommend the topics of the Heroes terrain, especially the fourth ones, but not only. Romero always did a good piece of background music, without putting in huge suspensions and dramaturgy where you don't have to. And these are beautiful songs.
