I am also not bored. Series. I know what the problem is - I separate the character from the series, you think one character = series. I believe "House M.D." is a very good series, but for other reasons than you and that's it: P Personally, I consider Jack Donaghy from "30 Rock" to be a more interesting and less explicit character, but it does not change the fact that I like the whole series: D
Rather, I was talking about the argument from the series "it has to be this way, otherwise I wouldn't like it". Crazy Convincing: P
And I think that this one, short sentence perfectly sums up the phenomenon of this character and thus the whole series: P Thank you for your attention, this is where the discussion can end.

That's possible. I don't go any deeper. I simply absorb the series or the main character of the series.
For a specific person, this is an argument that ends the discussion. De gustibus non est disputandum.

A house of pure malice? I think I'm watching another series.
No, it doesn't have to, at least for me. He is no superman, sometimes he loses, and most of all - he doesn't always have what he wants. In fact, when I watched half a season a day, I liked it a lot more than now, when I'm waiting for the next episode for a week or two. That's the way I dropped out of House'omani, especially since the good episodes lately are on the limb. I can't even remember what it was about last.
True, true. Nor do I feel like being a cripple, a drug addict who cannot form normal relationships with people. If House were still handling it well, it would be okay, but the indifference obtained by doping up with drugs isn't good dealing with himself. It's like taking an example from Nicolas Cage from Leaving Las Vegas - yeah, that looks very cool in the movie.

House has several features that everyone would like to have. All this self-confidence, directness, the ability to point out people's stupidity attracts, one would like to be a bit like him. But on the other hand, you can see that such people are actually doomed to be rejected, because people prefer to be deceived out of politeness and generally petted on the head. House is actually a tragic character in a way, he is definitely not "fooled". He is also not boring - from interesting comments, jokes to observing the complexity of his personality, all this provides a lot of impressions. It is not more predictable than all of us - you know what to expect from it, but it surprises you every now and then.
A conversation is not always an exchange of arguments and its purpose is to convince the other person to be right. But the fact that if I winked in the right place, you might not be picky. Mea culpa.
I think love is stronger than habits or circumstances. I think it is possible to keep yourself for someone for a long time and still remember why you were waiting when she comes at last.

Yesterday, for the first time in my life, I watched one episode of House (some in the middle of the series, on TVP2, was about a bone marrow transplant). I read so much about this series that I had to check it myself. And so:
1) The medical "plot" seemed unlikely to me. Although I know the button about medical procedures, I had the impression of unreality,
2) predictable scenario - I knew from the beginning that it would work,
3) acting of the main character - some perfect scenes, just little gems, the actor (as usual, I forgot the name: oops :) uses his facial expressions to the maximum (did he sometimes start in the theater?) And redraws the role. And that's what I like. It reminded me of "Hamlet" performed by Mel Gibson, who played with his eyes throwing the prince's feelings.
4) but the best actor of this episode was the dog anyway - such a small, white, shaggy cable gnawer and cane eater. :)

So I will probably not stay a sworn fan of the series, but when I come across the next episodes on the TV, I will not run away screaming.

Because a medical plot is unlikely to be probable. Series in which every episode brave medics fight a runny nose, allergies to cats, and from holidays you get an appendix to cut out, you can get a penny for a kick. The guy is a prima sort diagnostician, he only catches interesting cases, and the interesting ones do not have to be probable. With "one in a million patients" disease, there is action instead of feeling sorry for another 9-year-old with mumps. And repetition does not bother me, the same can be said about crime series (in each episode a different murderer), and "Columbo" is watched with bated breath even today. Waaaaaaaaaaaaagh.
Courage does not always roar. Valor does not always shine.

Exactly. Who cares about some darkening patient? He is curious until you know what's wrong with him and then it's just another homo sapiens wandering on the ground: -o

The halfway point of season 24, still rising tide, is - so far - one of the show's best seasons. Admittedly, the Kefir has not changed (or maybe a bit), but the intrigue is at the highest level. Although I can not imagine what they are going to show in the 8th season, because here they went to the max - if it is true that the 8th season will be created ... Because I still hope that it is a fake to surprise with the final of the "seven". Anyway - it's worth watching. For now, it holds a lot of unexpected twists and turns, it's hard to break away. I Society for the Defense of Terrorist Rights ("I want to see my lawyer": badgrin :) is still a villain, despite the presence of a Really Black (literally and figuratively) Hero

I understand that you are suggesting a "second-hand" look at the matters from p.1 and p.2 - I am supposed to be psychologically comfortable, because it is known that everything will end well. Hmm ... then I'll try in a week ... who knows, maybe I'm a potential "neophyte"? ;)

In fact, it doesn't even matter if the patient survives - at least not to the protagonist. It is only important to identify the disease. The rest - for him - is boring. It's a pity you're only watching from season 3. Although the scheme in each episode is almost the same (the patient will either live or die), a lot is happening when it comes to the main character.

And from Monday, a new SHARP JOB. I wonder if Polszmat will go full and broadcast until the 14th season. Because it starts either from the 9th or 10th season (rudeness, if from 10th, because 9th was not broadcast in Poland, but 10th is just debuting in Poland on dvd, so everything is possible, especially since it is Polish - the same "standard" of respect for the viewer, like TVP). The fifteenth, final one is now being broadcast in the USA. Viewership has been declining systematically since the 9th season, so it's probably about time to end.
