You can skip the weapon packs or other hacks, but two must be Kasumi Stolen Memory, Overlord and Arrival, and three are Citadel, Omega and Lieviatan. The rest is optional, although without Zaeed the two look pale, and Lair of the Shadow Broker crushes the pythons.
