Re: Worth to read fantasy books

I recommend the series Snyder Maria V - 1 Mages Fortress 02 - A Touch of Magic :-) All Iksia's mages were executed during a military coup. Meanwhile, in the neighboring Sycja, they are still a privileged caste, more than four of them sit on the ruling council of the state. Yelena is sentenced to dea...

Re: 7th Sea - flippant system?

You know, by design, this system is Heroic :). The player's hero is the HERO. Well, maybe not in the literal sense, but it is known that a person who means something more. There is practically no option to play with a shepherd. That's why only the strongest opponents are a challenge for players ... ...

Re: The sign of the Scarlet Moon

- You know what, I'll call you back. Devyn said to the receiver carefully hiding his excitement and hung up. Without a trace of his previous passion, he looked at the terminal monitor. "Well, the Mayans aren't going anywhere so far ... And if that bubek from Review is close to the truth in a qu...

Re: Vampire: Masquerade

Interference in CM was possible - once, but when WHite Wolf revealed most of the cards and brought the world to the brink of doom, this interference became extremely difficult. It's just that the world has become too complete and too much interference is a kind of stretching it and its logic can fin...

Re: Worth to read fantasy books

And I recommend "Achaya" trilogy, the first two volumes are amazing for me 3 already a bit weaker. I also recommend "Mr. Ice Garden" and look forward to 2 the volume of the premiere for 2007, but somehow I haven't got it yet. Another book, I just finished the Shadow March. Also v...

Re: Twilight

I watched the movie (which effectively discouraged me from reading the book, so I will not talk about it) and yes, it was cheesy, the love theme - banal and well ... stupid? So I don't understand all this twilight and crowds of teenagers raving about Edward. And I am sure that if I was younger than ...

Re: The Magicians' Guild. Trudi Canavan.

a fantastic book, a plot run from the perspective of probably 3 characters, it is pleasant to read, it is not a fantasy in which for the first 5 chapters you have to focus hard to find yourself in that reality and not lose the character. Worth recommending. Unexpected ending, long remembered

Re: Stranger Things

Winona Ryder - ONE LOVE!!! That is it :D Winona Ryder is a discovery for me. She drags the main line of the drama of the first season, which I did not expect from her at all. There is also the charismatic Hopper, the local police sheriff, who entertains with his antics, but the main stars of the se...
